Areas of Interest

I am fascinated with the role of action potentials and how plants sense and communicate. I really enjoy understanding plants responses to stimuli such as touch, wounding, or environmental stress as this helps scientist understand how plants function.

My interest of plant pathology ranges from diagnostics and detection to treatment.

I am interested in plant compounds for various uses, specifically medical purposes.

Genomics is one of the most important fundamental elements of the work I do. It paves the way for all the work I am doing.

Tissue culture is crucial work that helps in my current studies. And a fun past time.
